What I like about this 31-Day Devotional "Journey" ☺
☺It includes the book of Proverbs in the New American Standard (this is an accurate translation for study that is not difficult to understand)
☺each Proverb chapter is followed by a prayer of application. I had not heard of John Mason before, but I found that the prayer section he wrote for each chapter challenged me to pray through the verses myself.
☺on the "superficial" side, I like the appearance of the book. The pages have torn/rough edges which add to the aesthetic quality. What can I say, I still enjoy turning "real" pages :)...The copy I received is a softback with a quality cover that has a jacket "edge" fold out that can be used to mark the book page.
☺the topic principles at the end of the book. example...
Compassion
He who oppresses the poor taunts His Maker,
but he who is gracious to the needy
honors Him. Proverbs 14:31
"A self-centered life is totally empty, while an empty life allows room for God."
