the storm is coming...

"they" say that a rainy day
is not the best kind
for bread to rise...
but we bake anyway. ☺
The house is filled with the "warm and cozy"

 ...and the smell...
YUM.
Storms can bring out the "martha".
Empty shelves are all that is left, where the mad dash
for water bottles left off, at Walmart.
We still have power,
but we light candles anyway.
A storm "party".
Anxiety redirected.
Find a place at the feet of Jesus.
For real.

A daily devotional
that encourages taking time
at the feet of Jesus...
exerpt from October 29  "Lord, don't you care?
Like Martha, we often wonder.
Of course He cares. That's why Jesus came."
This is how God showed
His l♥ve among us:
He sent His one and only Son. I John 4:9

And WHEN it rains
we need to KNOW.

"You were made for more than serving God;
you were made to know Him."
