...it will more than likely not be a white CHRISTmas.
Just the paper kind.
yet, a visual reminder of the words Isaiah 1:18...
[ Let’s Argue This Out ] “Come. Sit down. Let’s argue this out.” This is GOD’s Message: “If your sins are blood-red, they’ll be snow-white. If they’re red like crimson, they’ll be like wool.
The rain
is
falling...
it's as though all of heaven
is weeping with those who mourn.
We walk through the living nativity,
the "streets of Bethlehem" to the
shepherds field.
There is a 34 degree chill.
The sky is FULL.
The smell is sheep.
I jump at the speaker's blare
and the angel's (way up there) blinding light.
Is this what it felt like to be a keeper of the sheep?
A little child says "come on, let's go find Jesus!"
WHERE is JESUS?
Emmanuel.
God with us.
I can't stop thinking about sheep.
OR the GOOD Shepherd.
...and people who NEED.
WHAT can I GIVE when the NEED is so big?
a sheep? for some this is better than a turkey at Christmas.
PLUS wool for warmth...or income.
Sometimes little can be big.
I am one little blogger joining with more than 2000 blogging for Compassion.
The goal? to raise $20,000 by CHRISTmas
to help children and families in poverty.
I want to do my part.
That means TEN people to give $10.
